Mississippi Robotics is a non-profit organization involved in training youth and teachers in science, technology, math, and engineering through practical hands-on activities. This STEM/SUMO Competition is designed to exercise and measure the students’ ability in several important areas involving skill, critical thinking, and strategy. Awards are earned.
Join our exciting SUMO tournament and four other events. This year our events will be SUMO Remote Control, Autonomous Programming, Workbench Tool ID, Electricity, Math, and Science. We will have Virtual Reality as a demo. Every event the student can earn points. Math and Science are required events to earn any points. If you don’t have a robot or R/C car for the SUMO tournament you can participate in the other events. Just come and have fun with the five events!!!
STEM Prizes. 1st-3rd place in each event are awarded STEM Points that can be spent in our STEM Store for very cool science & engineering kits and drones. A 3D printer will be an award option.
Coaches / Teachers. Pre-register below and you will be sent information to register your students. Payment must be made by March 1, 2022. Entry fee is $25 per student. If you are registering more than eight students you will want to consider our STEM Affiliate Schools program.
