aerialMinistry Partner of Mississippi Robotics, Cary Christian Center (CCC) is located in the Mississippi Delta region. The Delta region is considered one of the lowest income areas in Mississippi. Cary Christian Center is a multi-faceted ministry reaching out to many families across the south Delta region. CCC is in their 2nd year of teaching robotics and has a high school competition team as well as a 4th – 12th grade robotics class.

Cary Christian Center is located in the southern part of the Mississippi Delta region. The Delta region is considered to be one of the poorest areas of the state as well as the United States. Cary, MS has a population of 303 with the medium per capita income of $12,638. The local high school, South Delta High School,  is located north of Cary about 10 miles in the town of Rolling Fork.

The most common occupations in Cary are:

  • Farmers and farm managers (14%)
  • Driver/sales workers and truck drivers (13%)
  • Electrical equipment mechanics and other installation, maintenance, and repair occupations including supervisors (10%)

  • Agricultural workers including supervisors (6%)
  • Supervisors, construction and extraction workers (5%)
  • Metal workers and plastic workers (5%)
