Workbook: Robot building & programming (using Scratch)
This is a free workbook to help teachers and 7th – 12th grade students learn how to build, program, execute strategy with activities using built-in sensors, robots. This workbook uses the Elegoo Smart Robot ver 4.0. The cost of the Elegoo Robot is around $80. Other similar robots can be substituted. This workbook uses the beginning programming language called Scratch. The entire workbook assignments should take 20-30 hours to complete.
This workbook is available at no cost with the requirement that it not be modified in any way or distributed for any cost. All content, credits, copyrights, and covers are not to be modified.
The student is expected to use the workbook to learn and perform the required activities. A teacher is expected to work with the student and approve each activity. At the successful conclusion of the workbook assignments and activities the teacher can apply for a Certificate of Excellence for the student. The Certificate cost is $50.
