Jefferson Davis Outreach Robotics

Ministry Partner of Mississippi Robotics, Jefferson Davis Outreach Ministry (JDOM) in Prentiss, MS teaches an after-school program reaching about 25 students that need extra academic assistance. JDOM started an elementary age robotics program in Sept 2013 with eight girl students.  Three girls reached the lesson for programming and really enjoyed being able to “tell the robot what to do.” This was a very successful class and they are expanding to a middle-school class in 2014.
